This very popular family-friendly weekly event is an ideal place to find local and seasonal produce, to eat freshly prepared food, to learn about the benefits of eating locally, to enjoy live entertainment and to mingle with friends.

Situated in Old Town Bluffton, the market prides itself in offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, and herbs harvested by both organic and conventional growers in South Carolina (primarily the Low Country) and Georgia. Barbecue, gumbo, seafood, baked goods, and iced delights are just some of the delicious dishes prepared by local food vendors that you will find at the market.


Check out the wellness, education, and nonprofit tents to learn about the beneficial impact you make by eating seasonally and locally.

MARKET TIPS...

  • Come early, but not too early. The Market opens at 2:00 pm and we ask patrons to wait to enter the market until that time to assure their safety as vendors set up their tents.
  • We love dogs but the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) prohibits dogs from entering the areas where food is being prepared or served. Therefore, no dogs are permitted at the Carson Cottages. They are permitted on the streets.
  • The Main Entrance to the Market is at the front of the Carson Cottages on Calhoun Street. At this spot, you can hear market announcements and news just before the market opens each week
